About Mgbanghe
Mgbanghe is a hand-woven mat fence that is widely used among Bwatiye and Mbula communities. Typically woven with tough local reeds that are commonly found across many parts of northern Nigeria, a mgbanghe is usually erected around an orchard, a farm or a vegetable garden to protect the crops from animals.
Mgbanghe is also often found around sacred sites and shrines to prevent the uninitiated from seeing the secrets they hold
